Government Language Testing

Did you know:

• Nearly all senior level jobs with Government of Canada are designated "Bilingual Imperative" which means that you have to pass the government "Advanced" Government Second Language Exam before you are even considered for the position.
• Approximately 50% of Federal Government employees will be eligible for retirement by 2012
• Bilingual public servants receive a "Bilingual Bonus" added to their pay cheques for the duration of their employment.
• You are more likely to be considered for a management job with the Canadian Federal Government if you have the necessary second language proficiency levels.

What is the Super 100 Program?

Once registered, you will be provided with a module of our French language training program "Pour l'amour du français", as well as with all the Government of Canada approved test preparation materials you require. One of our teachers will then call you at a minimum 2 times per week (55 minutes per call) to review with you the progress you've made with the software and to help you practice your speaking skills. A month or so before your Government Language Testing, you will begin test preparation and the frequency of calls will increase up to 7 calls per week. LRDG services are available 7 days per week from 8am–11pm EST.

We pride ourselves on the excellent training and follow-up we provide our teaching staff. LRDG teachers have each received in depth training on the Government Language Testing methodology. Many of them were trained by the Canadian government itself, to provide language training and test preparation consistent with government standards.

Don't wait until the last minute to begin studying for your Government Language Testing:

For many of you, the last time you took any French training could have been years ago. If this is the case, don't call us the week before your Government Language Testing! Call us as soon as possible to begin your training as early as possible so as to give yourself the best possible chance of passing your test.
